Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) in association with Wadhani Foundation launches 6 months online Entrepreneurship Program for existing and aspiring entrepreneurs – Startup Labs 2021.
IIE is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt of India. The main aim of the Institute is to provide training, research and consultancy activities in Small and Micro Enterprises (SME), with special focus on entrepreneurship development in the North Eastern region of India.
In the North East Region, over the years Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) has been working mainly in the domain of livelihood clusters and skill development initiatives. IIE has made interventions in more than 100 clusters and skilled youths and enterprises at the grassroot level across NER.
In the last few years, IIE forayed into the startup domain of entrepreneurship. Starting initially with informal mentoring of startups of the region, we realized that funding or starting capital is a major road block for any entrepreneurial idea to take off. In spite of good and scalable ideas, the starting capital becomes a road block to having a proof of concept.
